Keycaps and Key Blockers for Backlighted X-keys®Keycaps and blockers for the X-keys Jog & Shuttle Pro, Joystick Pro, and LCDUse keycaps and blockers to instantly create a custom key layout to match your application.
Move your mouse over the image above to see the keycaps with backlighting LEDs turned on. All backlighting LEDs on the X-keys Jog & Shuttle Pro and Joystick Pro are controlled together and may be dimmed together. LEDs on the LCD X-keys may be individually controlled via software (learn more about this in our SDK). Click on a key or blocker to jump to more information about it. Key Blockers
Key blockers take the place of any single key and leave a flat surface at case deck height for a professionally finished look. These key blockers snap over Cherry MX switches and may be removed or swapped with keycaps to modify or update a key configuration. Use key blockers to knock out a row or column of switches or to group keys by function. Key blockers for these X-keys feature a hole to allow the LED to shine through. Tall and Wide Keycaps
Tall and wide keycaps replace two single keys on an X-keys. Tall and wide caps come in three colors: gray, blue, and beige. Each package contains 10 key cap bases and 10 clear cover lenses. Large 2x2 Keycaps
2x2 keycaps replace four single keys. Perfect when a large, hard-to-miss target is required. NOTE: Not recommended for XK series X-keys. Single Keycaps
Gray and beige keycaps feature a solid colored base while the other colors are semi-transparent or translucent. In all cases the cover lens is clear. Each package contains 10 key cap bases and 10 clear cover lenses. Industrial Keycaps
These are perfect for a developers or implementers who do not want the end user to change the keys. Industrial keycaps use square key legends which easily printed, cut out, and assembled into the key cap. A clear lens holds the legend securely in place and discourages users from making their own modifications. Updating the legends requires removing the key cap from the switch and poking the lens out from the back side with the end of a paper clip or tip of a nail file. The 1x2 key may be used as either a tall or wide key. We also have a set designed for PIN pad entry with pre-printed numbers, backspace, "Clear", and "Enter" keys (see picture above). | ||||
